HARRISBURG - March 30, 2022 - Farm Bureau members from northwestern PA traveled to Harrisburg to share their thoughts about pending legislation and the state budget with me, along with Sen. Laughlin, Dush, Hutchinson and many House members.
We discussed the spotted lanternfly, Lyme and other tick-borne diseases, a grain indemnity fund, proposed cuts to animal health, and the need to restore whole milk in schools. In fact, I have offered legislation to do so. Farm Bureau leaders who came included Don Koontz, Nick Mobilia, Bill Cannon, Bob Craft, James Thiele, Jim and Linda Halstead, Nancy Cannon, Kathy Maas, Dennis Whitney, Riley Whitney, Larry Moose, Scott Preston, Lela Preston, Jack Post and Mark Muir.

March 30, 2022 - It was such a pleasure to work with leading gastroenterologist Dr. Marianne Ritchie Gordon to spotlight colorectal cancer prevention strategies and to light the Capitol in blue for Colon Cancer Awareness Month. Dr. Ritchie has led the nationwide Blue Lights Campaign, along with the Lieutenant Governors in every state. Early screening saves lives.
