
HARRISBURG – Sen. Michele Brooks (R-50) announced that Lawrence County will receive state funding to support vital sewer infrastructure improvements through the Commonwealth Financing Agency’s (CFA) Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program.
“Reliable water and sewer systems are essential to public health and economic development,” Brooks said. “I appreciate the opportunity to work with our local municipalities to secure this funding and look forward to working with them in the future.”
The approved projects include:
- North Beaver Township Municipal Authority – Grinder pump procurement – $100,000
- Wilmington Township – Eden Dale storm sewer improvements – $100,000
- Lawrence Hickory Municipal Authority – Cameron Road sewage pump station upgrade – $100,000
The CFA is an independent agency of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
