Brooks to Host Senior Expo on Sept. 19 in Greenville

GREENVILLE – Sen. Michele Brooks (R-50) invites seniors and caregivers to a Senior Expo on Friday, Sept. 19, at Greenville Alliance Church, 63 Conneaut Lake Rd., from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“I always enjoy these opportunities to engage with our senior citizens and ensure they have access to the support they need,” said Brooks. “This expo offers valuable tools to help seniors live safely, independently and actively.”

This expo gives residents the opportunity to learn about resources and programs provided by state government, as well as local nonprofit and community groups in the area. It will also offer prize drawings provided by vendors. Flu shots, Pneumonia and Tdap vaccines will be available to all who are interested.

Seniors will have the opportunity to have a bone density test, vision, skin and spinal screening free of charge.

The Veterans of the Vietnam War Post 52 will be accepting snacks and personal care items for the troops.

“I look forward to seeing everyone again this year,” Brooks said.
