
HARRISBURG – Sen. Michele Brooks (R-50) announced today that Crawford County will receive $900,000 in state funding to improve transportation and water infrastructure.
“I appreciate the opportunity to work with the county and our local municipalities to secure this funding,” Brooks said. “These grants help address long-standing infrastructure needs while positioning the county for future growth.”
Projects receiving funding through the Commonwealth Financing Authority’s (CFA) Multimodal Transportation Fund:
- Crawford County – Bessemer Trail extension – $300,000
- City of Titusville – East Mount Vernon Street roadway improvements – $350,000
Awarded funding through the CFA’s PA Small Water and Sewer Program:
- Meadville Area Water Authority – Pump upgrades – $150,000
- Bloomfield Township Sewage Authority – Pump station replacement – $100,000
The CFA is an independent agency of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development which administers Pennsylvania’s economic stimulus packages.
