Brooks Announces $92,500 Grant for Hydetown Road Improvements

HARRISBURG – Sen. Michele Brooks (R-50) announced today the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) awarded a $92,500 Multimodal Transportation Fund grant to Hydetown Borough to support critical road improvements in Crawford County.

The funding will be used for base repair, milling and paving along the borough-owned section of Main Street.

“I want to thank Hydetown Borough for submitting a strong and thoughtful application,” Brooks said. “Maintaining and improving our local roadways is essential to public safety, economic growth and quality of life. Investments like this help ensure our communities remain connected, resilient and ready for the future.”

PennDOT’s Multimodal Transportation Fund supports projects that ensure a safe and reliable system of transportation for Pennsylvania residents.
