Sen. Brooks’ Veterans’ Representative Visit Postponed due to Veterans Day

HARRISBURG (November 5, 2021) Due to the Veterans Day holiday, the Veterans Service Officer from the American Legion who partners with Sen. Michele Brooks to help veterans will postpone his regularly scheduled visit to her Greenville office by one week.

For the month of November. the Veterans Service Officer will assist veterans from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18 at Sen. Brooks’ office at 100 Hadley Road, Suite 9, in Greenville.  In future months, he is expected to continue to come on the second Thursday of each month.  Veterans are encouraged to bring all relevant paperwork with them. Appointments are encouraged but not required.

The service officer will be able to assist veterans and their families with topics that include compensation and pensions, housing and home loans, health care, and education benefits.

“I welcome veterans and their families to stop by my Greenville district office on Thursday, Nov. 18 to talk with Stephen Wagner of the American Legion or call my office at any time, at (724) 588-8911 with their questions and concerns,” Sen. Brooks said. “And I join the community in thanking our veterans on Veterans Day, and every day.”
