HARRISBURG (November 12, 2020) –  A $75,000 Keystone grant from the Dept. of Education has been awarded to the Greenville Public Library in Mercer County, Sen. Michele Brooks announced today.

The funds will help the library obtain a new boiler, and make several other modifications to improve energy-efficiency, including added insulation and new LED lighting.

“Reading is the foundation of success,” Sen. Brooks said.  “I am happy to see funding being devoted to enhance a trusted shared space that can provide lifelong benefits to users, connecting the community to jobs, great literature, new ideas and each other.”
