On Oct. 17, Sen. Brooks hosted her annual “Senator for a Day Seminar” at Thiel College, attracting 113 students from more than 25 area high schools. Students debated the local use of radar for speeders, the legalization of recreational marijuana, cyber-charter funding, a tax increase, and many more timely issues.
