Reduce Car Insurance Costs by Taking Safe Driving Course Nov. 14-15, Brooks Says

HARRISBURG (Oct. 17, 2018) Sen. Michele Brooks invites those age 55 and over to complete a two-day AARP Smart Driver Course on Nov. 14 and 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Boardroom at the Edinboro Borough Building, 124 Meadville Street.

Those who complete the AARP course could be eligible for at least a five percent discount on their total auto insurance bill.  The course also teaches proven driving techniques to help keep seniors and their loved ones safe on the road.

The cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members.  Seating is limited, so pre-registration is required.  Participants are asked to RSVP to Teresa Koon in Sen. Brooks’ Edinboro Office at 814-734-2783.

Refreshments will be provided.

“As auto insurance rates rise, I hope our seniors will find this course helpful in reducing their insurance premiums,” Sen. Brooks added. “I am so happy to partner with AARP to offer this course to our residents.”
