Help Support Local Students in State Video Competition

Senator Michele Brooks is asking our local community to help a team of ninth grade students from Cochranton High School to win a statewide anti-drug video competition sponsored by the Office of the Attorney General.

The video created by Sierra Miller, Baylee Young, Kendyl Schlosser and Madison Maynard is one of five finalists submitted by students from across Pennsylvania.

The winning entry will be determined by the results of an online vote currently underway at the Attorney General’s YouTube page (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC13KvRB_Bca8NbMtkLCaRQg). The Cochranton team’s entry is listed as “Peer 2, Peer Submission #3” on the site. Votes can be cast by clicking the thumbs up icon below each video.  The deadline for voting is Friday, November 18th.

“The message ‘drugs destroy lives’ clearly rings through in this 30 second video. It was truly well done,” Senator Brooks said. “We should all be proud of the effort and creativeness shown by this team of Cochranton students. We can show our support and appreciation with our votes.  I hope you will join me in supporting these exceptional students.”
