Titusville Redevelopment Authority Receives CFA Loan

The Titusville Redevelopment Authority was awarded a loan by the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) at its Friday (July 1) meeting, according to Senator Michele Brooks.

The Titusville Redevelopment Authority was awarded a $500,000 Business in our Sites Loan to assist with the renovations at the Titusville Town Square rebuild project. Rehabilitation of the site damaged by a March 2015 fire is expected to result in the creation of 47 jobs and $3 million in private investment.

“These dollars partner with the overwhelming support of the Titusville community to rebuild the block from this devastating fire,” said Senator Brooks. “This project will help the Town Square to again become a major component of downtown Titusville.”

The CFA was established as an independent agency of the Commonwealth. The CFA holds fiduciary responsibility over the funding of programs and investments in Pennsylvania’s economic growth.
