Cash and credit/debit cards cannot be accepted.

Supporting Our Troops

Once again we will be helping our troops by collecting items at the expo, in partnership with Post 52’s Project Support Our Troops. The items collected will to be sent as thanks to our servicemen and women overseas. If you’d like to participate, the following items would be appreciated: peanuts, beef jerky, hand sanitizer, lip balm, small tissue packs, eye drops, and more. For a full list of needed items, visit www.post52.com.

This year’s expo will also include two interactive exhibits: the Pennsylvania WoodMobile and the Erie VA Mobile Vet Center. The WoodMobile provides information on the state’s forest resource and the state’s forest products industry.  Visitors will learn about Pennsylvania’s forests’ history, use touchscreen technology to interact with various threats to the forests, and learn about Pennsylvania’s forest products industry. The Erie VA Mobile Vet Center will also be on-hand to tour and a representative will be available to VA outreach services. Visitors are encouraged to board the vehicle and learn more about its role in VA programs and disaster assistance.

For more information about the senior expo, constituents may call Senator Brooks’ office at (724) 588-8911.
